Payment Method
The GPS Store accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for payment. Electronic fund or bank wire transfers are also accepted. For wire transfer instructions, please call or email the store.
For online orders, a preauthorization is made for the full order total when the order is placed. If the order contains items that are backordered, this preauthorization may drop. The GPS Store charges the credit card on the day the order ships. Backordered items are not charged until the day they ship.
All prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars. Sales tax is collected from customers within the home state of North Carolina, and also some other states as determined by remote seller guidelines. If applicable, the website will automatically calculate this upon checkout. In other states where sales tax is not currently required to be collected, it is the customer's responsibility to assure that all appropriate state sales and/or use taxes are paid.
For tax exempt purchases, an account must first be created on the website. Go to the "profile" tab, enter the reason for exemption from the drop down list and the tax ID number, then click the "update profile" button at the bottom of the page. Once this is done, tax will not automatically be added to the order.
Refunds will be made within 7 business days of receiving the item back at the warehouse. Refunds will only be issued by the same method of payment used on the original order.

The Gps Store Return Policy?
The GPS Store has a return policy that allows for the return of any new and unopened product for any reason for a full refund of the purchase price less shipping, as long as it is received at their warehouse within 45 days from the original date of sale. Free return shipping does not apply to refunds. If your order was shipped to you for free, there will be $15 per box deducted from your refund. If the shipping box exceeds 48", then the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
Any item which proves to be defective within the first 45 days from the date of sale will be replaced at no charge, provided the defective item is first shipped back to the warehouse postage paid. After 45 days, the manufacturers warranty applies.
Special orders, opened computer software or videos, electronic charts, AIS Equipment, EPIRB's, PLB's, Liferafts, Satellite Communicators and datacards are not returnable. Returns will not be accepted or refunded after 45 days from the date of sale.
If you would like to return an item, please call at 910-575-9544 for a Return Authorization Number before sending the item back. This number MUST be marked clearly on the outside of the shipping box. The GPS Store reserves the right to charge customers a $30 fee that Couriers Charge which include; change of address, return to sender and refused packages. Returns received without a Return Authorization number will be refused, or charged an automatic 20% return fee. This 20% return fee also applies to customer refused shipments.
All Refunds will be made within 7 business days of receiving the item back at the warehouse. Refunds will only be issued by the same method of payment used on the original order.
Exchanges of items over $100 are offered free return shipping. Simply contact them and they will email you a pre-paid return shipping label. They will exchange any item which proves to be defective within the first 45 days from the date of sale at no charge provided the defective item is first shipped back to the warehouse postage paid. After 45 days, the manufacturers warranty applies. You may also exchange any new and unopened item within 45 days from the date of sale as well. Please allow up to 2 business day after receipt of the returned item for the new item to ship out.
